Water and Sewage Tariffs

The State of Israel’s water tariffs are set by the Governmental Water and Sewage Authority.

The tariffs change from time to time based on the instructions of the Water Authority.

According to the rules of the Water and Sewage Corporations of 2009, starting on 01.01.2019, domestic consumption includes only two tariffs for water:

The low tariff:  Refers to the amount of up to the first 7 cubic meters for two months, where this is multiplied by the number of persons recognized as living in the residential unit.

The high tariff:  Refers to the balance of the water quantity consumed at a residential unit during the period of the bill.
